NDRC Startups Knock it out of the Park

NDRC startup alumni are knocking it out of the park this week. Chart-topping at SimpleStudy, a pan-European feature in Tech.eu publication for DevAlly, and four Pre-Accelerator alum named in Irish Independent's Thirty Under 30: Volta Robotics, Simple Probate, THE FOCUS CO., and MARC.

Earlier this week, SimpleStudy co-founder Phillip McKenna (Accelerator alum H2 '23) shared on X that the edtech took pole position in the Irish Apple charts as the most downloaded education app, overtaking e-learning giant Duolingo for the first time.

SimpleStudy has achieved $1.1M ARR in less than 12 months and is fully subscribed in its latest round. Huge growth trajectory for the edtech.

Accelerator alum DevAlly co-founders in Dogpatch Labs

Speaking to Tech.eu at Slush last month, the team behind digital accessibility platform DevAlly's interview is now live in one of Europe's leading tech publications.

Representing Ireland on the global stage, DevAlly reached the final three startups in the Slush100 competition for its AI-driven digital accessibility compliance. Selected from thousands of international techies at what is fast becoming Europe's must-attend event in the startup calendar, DevAlly co-founder Cormac Chisholm pitched to 14,000 techies alongside the Slush Top 20.

Pre-Accelerator alumni named Thirty Under 30

Four young founders of startups who validated their tech ideas in the NDRC Pre-Accelerator have been named trailblazers to watch in 2025, according to Irish Independent's Thirty Under 30 list.

Elvis Seporaitis is giving waste batteries a second chance with Volta Robotics. Boxer-turned-founder Isabella Hughes is streamlining the probate process at Simple Probate.

Proptech founder Aaron Devitt of MARC is solving the communication disconnect between tenants, agents, and landlords through AI. And THE FOCUS CO. (fka Chapter) founder Joel Olympio is building a wearable device to reduce distractions.

All four of these founders learned from expert mentors, connected into the NDRC network, and accelerated their tech startups in the Pre-Accelerator, supported by regional hub partners Dogpatch Labs, PorterShed, RDI Hub, and Republic of Work.
